Raymond York enlisted in the United States Marine Corps in 1995, just two days after graduating from high school. During his ten years of service, he completed assignments, training, and deployments across the United States and overseas, including the Carolinas, California, Arizona, Norway, Okinawa, Kuwait, and Iraq.
After being honorably discharged in 2005, Raymond founded what was originally known as Sgt. York’s Maintenance and Make Ready, now Sgt. York’s Property Maintenance. He operated the company independently while building a reputation for dependable service throughout Central Florida.
In 2009, Raymond earned his Florida real estate license and began working in property maintenance and real estate concurrently. His experience in both industries gave him a practical understanding of residential property that continues to benefit clients today.
Partnering with Fred Fox
In 2015, Raymond welcomed Fred Fox as an equal general partner in Sgt. York’s Property Maintenance. Their partnership expanded the company’s capabilities and created new opportunities for the Sgt. York brand.
Raymond earned his Florida real estate broker’s license in 2020 and founded Sgt. York’s Real Estate Services. Today, Raymond manages the real estate brokerage while continuing to support the property-maintenance company alongside Fred.
From its beginnings as a one-person maintenance business to two established Central Florida service companies, the Sgt. York name remains grounded in integrity, hard work, and personal service. Raymond and Fred are proud of what they have built and excited about what the future holds.
